renegade encounter

I ran across a renegade dance party last night on the Pedestrian Bridge. The youngest sister of one of the best people I've ever met in Austin (Chalo is the bomb, although he's in Seattle now) had come to say hi since she just moved in next door and inspired me to get out and do something with my Friday night.

So, I was cycling toward downtown to check out a hip-hop DJ at Flamingo (Nick Nack) and came across this great happenin' on the bridge. I got to see a couple of friends I haven't seen in a while (Tom and Sonya are way cool and gonzo geeky) and danced to some beautiful breaks (props to Dr. No and 0x86). All in all, it was exactly what I needed and not at all what I set out to find.
